The People Part
The People Part — Annie Hyman Pratt
(Current Book — Updated Nov 2025)
Lately, I’ve been facing a silent struggle inside my business:
I realised I don’t have a clear, simple vision that everyone in the company fully understands and aligns with. I’ve been leading with enthusiasm, hard work, and good intention — but carrying most of the weight alone.
While searching for answers, I came across The People Part, and it immediately felt like the book was written about me.
This book describes exactly what I’m experiencing:
a single founder driving the company forward, caring deeply, doing the heavy lifting, solving every critical issue, and trying to hold everything together with passion and effort.
As I’m reading, I keep thinking:
“Yes… this is me. This is exactly where I am.”
What I love about the book is that it doesn’t judge the founder.
Instead, it shows why this happens — and more importantly:
how to build a real leadership team, how to distribute ownership, and how to turn chaos into alignment.
This book is now officially part of my leadership transformation journey.
